Since its creation in 1977 under President Jimmy Carter, the Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) Program has brought over 10,000 individuals into Federal service.

Launched in 2018, the Presidential Management Alumni Association (PMAA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created to improve, expand, and promote the alumni community as well as the PMF Program.
